Molly Milne, CNM is a certified nurse-midwife with Women's Healthcare Associates in Tualatin, Oregon.
“I really enjoy partnering with my patients to solve problems. Maybe that’s getting to the bottom of frustrating symptoms, or getting through a phase of particular discomfort during pregnancy. My goal is to support people through both the physical and emotional aspects of whatever they are experiencing.”
Molly’s interest in working with women inspired her to explore different career avenues, including working as a doula where she was able to interact with different providers as part of the care team. She found herself drawn to the clinical aspects of supporting patients and pursued nurse-midwifery for the balance of medical and interpersonal focus that it offered. In her practice, Molly enjoys being with people from all backgrounds and situations, learning their stories and supporting all facets of their health and wellbeing. She provides obstetric care, supporting people during pregnancy and the transition to parenthood, as well as general reproductive healthcare—including STI screening and treatment; and fertility awareness, contraception and pregnancy options counseling. She also has experience with substance use disorders and enjoys perimenopausal care, preventative health and wellness for all ages and working with people who identify as LGBTQ+.
Molly grew up in northeast Portland and feels fortunate to be able to work and serve in her own community. When not working, she enjoys hiking, playing the piano and home improvement projects—as well as cooking and enjoying a home-crafted cocktail. She has two cats, a recently adopted puppy and is interested in fostering kittens. While not medically certified, she is conversational in both Spanish and Portuguese.
