New Nurse Midwife Joins Women's Healthcare Associates' Peterkort South Office
Jabke S. Buesseler, CNM, MN joined Women's Healthcare Associates' Peterkort South office on May 17, 2010.
Jabke grew up in The Netherlands and moved to the US when she was 18. She worked in Labor and Delivery as a Registered Nurse in Oregon for more than 20 years before returning to school to complete her master’s program in nurse midwifery at Oregon Health & Science University. She comes to WHA most recently from Pacific Midwifery Service in Vancouver, WA.
Tualatin Office Remodel On Schedule
Anyone who has visited our Tualatin office in the last few months has likely noticed a bit of extra noise and maybe a change of surroundings. While construction is never easy, we're thrilled to be underway and on schedule with a project that will add more than 6,500 square feet to our current office. The remodeled space will incorporate the serene colors, lighting, finishes and artwork that characterize WHA's other locations. The Tualatin office is open and fully operational during the project, which is scheduled to be completed at the end of January 2011.
In addition to upgraded interiors, patient services will be enhanced through the addition of mammography and DXA bone densitometry. At the conclusion of the project next year, our Tualatin location will include a new Northwest Gynecology Center.
Nurse Practioner Carole Cottet Recognized as a "Pioneer"
Carole Cottet, WHCNP, was featured in the May 6 issue of The Beaverton Valley Times as part of National Nurse's Week. Carole has been a nurse practioner in Oregon since 1977 and holds a Master's degree in Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University. She sees patients from WHA's Northwest Gynecology Center at our Peterkort campus.
