Frequently Asked Questions: Online Bill Pay and eStatements

Q: What are eStatements?
A: eStatements are Patient Statements that are sent to your email instead of being sent to your home address.

Q: How do I sign up for eStatements?
A:
When you receive a paper statement, it will direct you to our website where you can access the new Online Bill Pay Portal Account. When you register, you will be able to choose whether you would like to receive all of your future statements by email. If for some reason you are not able to access your email, a paper statement will be generated and sent to your home.

Q: Can I view my statement online?
A:
Yes. You will be able to view all of your previous statements online once you register to the Online Bill Pay Portal.

Q: Can I view my payments that I have made?
A:
You will be able to see any payments made online via the Bill Pay Portal, along with any payments made over the phone or sent in through the mail on or after May 9, 2011. You will not be able to see payments made at the clinics (ex: copays), however these payments will be reflected in your current balance due.

Q: Can I pay my bill online without receiving eStatements?
A:
Yes. You can choose not to receive your statements through email.

Q: If I have already have a Patient Portal Account, can I pay my bill through there?
A:
Yes. There is a direct connection between the Patient Portal and the Online Bill Pay Portal. You will see a link that will direct you to pay your bill online.

Q: If I do not have a “Verified” Patient Portal Account, can I still access the Online Bill Pay Portal to pay my bill?
A: Yes. You can register for a Bill Pay Portal Account and pay your bill, but would not be able to access any Patient Portal Chart information until you receive a PIN from Women’s Healthcare Associates.

Q: Can someone other than myself pay my bill online for me?
A:
Yes. All they will need is a recent statement and they can create a Bill Pay Account to pay your bill.
