Niik was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Texas as an adolescent. She attended Texas Women’s University in Dallas for her undergraduate degree in nursing. Niik served as an active duty nurse in the U.S. Navy stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, where she provided labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum and newborn care. After her service, she attended San Diego State University for her master’s degree in nursing and received her nurse practitioner’s certificate from the University of California, San Diego.
Niik is experienced in the full range of women’s health care, from well-woman care and family planning, to routine prenatal care and the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological issues. Her clinical interests include reproductive health, allopathic medicine and spiritual and emotional growth. Her goal in interacting with patients is to be useful and kind.
In her free time, Niik enjoys dancing, home renovation, gardening and game nights with family and friends. She is an environmental advocate with a passion for renewable energy, lowering our carbon footprint and recycling. She also served on the political action committee at Oregon Nurses’ Association for two years advocating for healthcare and labor practices.
