Nicki grew up in Northern California and knew she wanted to work in healthcare from a young age. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Dominican University in San Rafael. After graduating, she worked as a nursing instructor in Nepal with the American Peace Corps for two years, which reinforced her interest in obstetrics, gynecology and women’s health. Upon returning to the U.S., Nicki worked as a labor and delivery nurse for six years before going back to school for her master’s degree in the women’s health nurse practitioner program at Frontier University in Kentucky, where she graduated with honors.
Nicki enjoys the diverse experience and backgrounds of her patients and is interested in learning about them as whole people. Her goal is to work with women to make informed decisions about their health, actively listening to their perspective and incorporating their ideas into the plan of care. Her special interests include working with teenagers and pregnant women and the opportunity to counsel, educate and help them be as healthy as possible.
Nicki is married with two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and gardening, hiking, traveling and reading.
