Dr. Cohen grew up in San Francisco, California. She moved to the Pacific Northwest to attend Reed College, obtaining her undergraduate degree in Biology, before returning to the University of Southern California for her medical degree. While in medical school, Dr. Cohen was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Cohen returned to the Pacific Northwest to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oregon Health and Science University. She later obtained a graduate certificate in Medical Informatics from OHSU, which is the science of bringing information technology into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes and build a healthier society. Dr. Cohen is board-certified in OB/GYN and is currently serving as vice chair of the Oregon Section of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In her spare time, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She is an avid gardener, specifically vegetables and organic roses. In addition, she is an advocate for alternative energy, recycling and conservation.
