Jacqui spent her childhood in Southern California and moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon as a teenager. She attended Linfield College for a bachelor’s degree in theater before going on to OHSU where she received her master’s degree in nursing.
Jacqui has a natural curiosity for life and enjoys hearing her patient’s stories. She is passionate about reproductive health and working with women, adolescents, transgender and gender non-conforming patients to find solutions that are right for them. Her goal is to put her patients at ease so they are comfortable having honest conversations. Her clinical interests include contraception, family planning and teen health and education.
Jacqui founded Nursing Students for Sexual and Reproductive Health, a national organization that represents students at nursing schools across the country and advocates to increase their education around sexual health topics. Jacqui speaks with high school and nursing students, as well as practicing nurses, about contraception and sexuality. When she’s not working or volunteering, Jacqui enjoys spending time with her son, salsa dancing, baking, reading and swimming.
