Danielle grew up in the small town of St. Clair, Michigan. The Midwestern sensibilities of hard work and practicality have shaped her both personally and professionally. She attended Western Michigan University on a Medallion Scholarship, one of only 27 of the prestigious merit honors awarded the year she applied. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she moved to Oregon for her master’s degree in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University.
Danielle’s experience includes counseling women on contraception options, STD/HIV prevention and preventative healthcare. She enjoys working with her patients and their families and considers it a privilege to be a trusted partner in their healthcare. Her specific interests are promoting and encouraging the use of long-acting reversible birth control methods, as well as healthy lifestyle management for patients at any phase of life, from teenagers to seniors.
Danielle is married and she and her husband look forward to raising their two young boys with an appreciation of the Pacific Northwest. In her spare time, she enjoys any and all water sports thanks to growing up with the Great Lakes. She kayaks, does stand-up paddle boarding and hopes to learn to surf. She also practices yoga, volunteers at the Northwest Mother’s Milk Bank and loves all gastronomic pursuits at home and abroad.
