Corrine grew up climbing mountains, hiking, berry picking and fishing in the Alaskan Wilderness. She attended the University of Alaska, Fairbanks for her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in community psychology. She is a licensed professional counselor in Oregon and is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors.
Corrine’s strength-based approach encourages women to achieve their full potential toward productive and meaningful lives and relationships. She believes strongly in the connection between physical and mental well-being and loves working with patients to change their perspective on a situation and make progress toward their health goals. Corrine has worked extensively in providing trauma-informed care for depression and anxiety, in addition to providing counseling for those individuals with other mental health issues.
Corrine is part of a cooperative program between Women’s Healthcare Associates and Lifeworks Northwest. She works onsite in our Gateway office to provide behavioral support to the patients of Women’s Healthcare Associates. In her free time, she enjoys many activities: cooking, crafts and sewing; spending time in nature; and, especially, spending time with her grandchildren and their parents.
