My goal is to support my patients in finding health for themselves by discovering and practicing the things that make them feel well.”
About the Provider
Fascinated by science, Dr. Vasquez intended to become a researcher after completing her combination MD/PhD program. Listening to a newborn’s heartbeat during her very first week of medical school, she realized the most satisfying part of science to her was its impact on people, and there was no better way to experience that than through the practice of medicine. Obstetrics and gynecology allowed her to combine her love of surgery with the ability to develop long-term relationships with her patients.
Today, the process of helping women understand what’s happening with their bodies and empowering them to take charge of their overall health brings Dr. Vasquez the most satisfaction. She loves the daily variety of OB/GYN, including all aspects of pregnancy and childbirth; preventative health; sexual health; and helping women address gynecological concerns, such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids and adenomyosis. She still enjoys surgery and is skilled in minimally invasive approaches, including laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Outside of work, Dr. Vasquez enjoys being outdoors, cooking and spending time with family. After finishing her OB/GYN residency, she completed a global health fellowship in Moshi, Tanzania, and continues to be interested in global health and education.
Dr. Vasquez is so excellent about explaining what is happening, giving you ALL the information, and presenting concerns or points of care in a straightforward manner. She's the best.

Dr. Vasquez was compassionate, understanding, and helpful in the highest degree. She made it clear my peace of mind was as important as physical health and told me I could come in every week or 2 weeks if I needed to see an ultrasound and hear my baby’s heartbeat! I have never been so reassured that my Dr. has interest in keeping me healthy- mind and body!!

I had such a good experience during my visit. I was a little nervous about going in, but everyone was so friendly and put me at ease. My provider was so helpful and encouraged me to ask questions, she made me feel heard and let me know all my options and it was just overall a great experience.

Dr. Vasquez is excellent at listening to me and discussing issues without judgement, and takes the time to cover everything. Little details like having the scale in the exam room and not in the hallway, and asking if you would like a weight check in by her assistant is also appreciated and something I hadn't experienced before coming to her. She seems to truly care about her patients and treats them as whole people, looking at how to maintain or improve overall health and wellness. I am very grateful that she was recommended to me when I needed to find another provider a couple of years ago.

Dr. Vasquez is excellent to talk to. Took the time to talk and to listen. I can’t speak highly enough about Dr Vasquez. Doctors like her are rare and pleasant to go see. I was comfortable. And at ease right when she walked in the room and introduced herself.

I’ve seen Brandy for 11 years now. For my benefit, I hope she never retires! She isn’t afraid to tell it like it is, and I really appreciate that about her. She does so in a way that is caring. She genuinely cares about her patients. I love that she doesn’t push medicine on me and always looks for the root cause of the issue, not a “band aid” solution. She is one of the great ones.
