Bailey was born and raised in Ashland, Oregon. She attended St. Mary’s College of California, graduating with honors with her bachelor’s degree in health sciences. She moved to Portland to work at OHSU’s Knight Cancer Institute before enrolling there in the physician assistant master’s program. While in school, she was recognized for both leadership and academic achievement.
Bailey was motivated to pursue medicine by her enjoyment of interacting with people of different backgrounds and cultures and her desire to make a positive difference and have an impact on their lives. She enjoys all aspects of women’s health and obstetrics/prenatal care and has particular interest in contraceptive counseling, preventative health care and gynecological procedures.
In her spare time, Bailey enjoys traveling, hiking, fly fishing, reading and spending time with family and friends. After completing her master’s program, she backpacked through South America for six months.
